Spoiler alert: You don't even always have to pay full price for items on Amazon. While the online marketplace already offers great deals on thousands of name-brand products, there are a few tips and tricks to help you save even more money while shopping.

Recently, we shared our guide to Amazon's coupon page, which offers instant digital deals in almost every category that you can "clip" and apply at checkout. We also clued you in on Amazon's Overstock Outlet, where you can shop markdowns, closeouts, and overstock deals all in one place. Now, we have another under-the-radar section on Amazon that will blow your mind. Enter: Amazon Warehouse!

What Is Amazon Warehouse?

If you thought Amazon Warehouse was just the building where orders are fulfilled, you're not technically wrong. However, it's also a section of the website that you can visit to score some unbeatable deals. Amazon Warehouse is where Amazon's returned and slightly used items are available for purchase at a discounted price.

How Does Amazon Warehouse Work?

To access the Amazon Warehouse homepage, click here. You can also find Amazon Warehouse in the department drop down menu next to the search bar on Amazon's homepage. This is a useful feature if you’re searching for a particular product and want to see if it was available for a lower price—just select the Warehouse option from the dropdown menu, type in the product you're looking for in the search bar, and see what comes up.

While Amazon Warehouse probably won't be the section you'll be doing your holiday shopping in, it is a great place to browse if you're looking to purchase slightly used items for yourself. For example, the Cosori Air Fryer Max XL is $120.28 on Amazon right now. However, the same air fryer is currently available on Amazon Warehouse for $70.17. While the latter air fryer is used, the condition is labeled as "good."

According to Amazon, all items are evaluated and graded using a 20-point quality process. They use the labels below to give shoppers a quick understanding of the product's condition, along with detailed comments unique to that item. Look out for these labels when shopping Amazon Warehouse:

  • Renewed: This is Amazon's version of refurbished. All renewed products have been inspected and tested by Amazon to work and look as good as new. It should have minimal to no signs of wear and comes with the Amazon Renewed Guarantee which gives you 90 days to request a replacement or refund.
  • Used – Like New: An item in perfect working condition. The packaging may have minor damage.
  • Used – Very Good: The item has seen limited use and remains in great working condition. The packaging may be damaged or it may come repackaged.
  • Used – Good: The item shows wear, but remains in good working condition. The packaging may be damaged or it may come repackaged.
  • Used – Acceptable: The item is fairly worn but continues to function properly. The packaging may be damaged or it may come repackaged.

As Amazon writes in the description, pre-owned items are backed by the 90-day Amazon Renewed Guarantee. They have also been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon-qualified suppliers.

Try This Amazon Warehouse Hack To Save More:

One thing to note—when you browse categories, Amazon Warehouse lets you sort products by price from low to high, but that feature disappears if you type in a specific product in the search bar. Luckily, TikTok user @caseyyisfetchh, who runs an account chockfull of Amazon and money-saving hacks, figured out a way around that to make finding the best deal even easier.

In the video, she breaks down the steps to sorting search results when the option is otherwise unavailable, which involves tweaking the URL in order to redirect your page. As she explains, you'll need to add a tag to the end of URL. The tag is as follows: &s=price-add-rank. After doing this and hitting enter, the page should refresh and you should be able to shop prices low to high.
