Even if you've never stepped foot inside a Cheesecake Factory, you know the chain likely excels at one thing: cheesecake. Fortunately for all you cheesecake-obsessed readers, so does Delish. We dreamed up the one cheesecake recipe you should probably start making immediately for any special occasion you can think of: birthday, graduation (find someone who's graduating, dammit!), Easter, any random cheat day when you find yourself craving cheesecake. Here's what makes it so special:

IT'S STUDDED WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS.

The luxuriously creamy filling has the perfect allotment of mini chocolate chips, thanks to our method for mixing them into the batter: You layer them. First you pour 1/3 of the batter into the crust, then 1/3 mini chips, and repeat until it's full. This helps the chips not sink to the bottom.

THERE'S A COOKIE DOUGH CRUST.

Scoot over graham cracker crust, this one is COOKIE DOUGH. Grab a log of Pillsbury and pat it down into your springform before pouring in the cheesecake filling; no pre-baking required.

AND MORE COOKIE DOUGH INSIDE.

Yup, we drop small rounds of more cookie dough inside so you get the perfect ratio of cheesecake to cookie dough in every bite.

CRUSHED COOKIES BLANKET THE SIDES.

This was a genius game-time decision made by Delish's site director. Because we needed another way to make the cheesecake even more over-the-top (in a good way).

THREE WORDS: COOKIE DOUGH FROSTING.

Because we all sneak more raw cookie dough while baking than we like to admit—even though we know we shouldn't, especially in light of the recent flour recall—we made a cookie dough frosting that gets topped all over the cheesecake and it's KILLER. You combine butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and a little flour (if this too weird for you to eat raw flour, skip!) and blend that together until's creamy. (We were all pretty happy just eating this straight off a spoon.)

Ready to make it? Set aside the next 36 hours—KIDDING! But from-scratch cheesecakes do seem to take forever. Trust us on this one: It's worth it.
