Peeps Skillet S'mores
You could go the classic route and make carrot cake for your Easter dinner, or, you could get creative with this Peeps skillet s'mores (c'mon...you know the right answer). This adorable recipe starts with a creamy melted chocolate base, topped with an array of colorful Peeps before being baked in the oven. Served with graham crackers, this skillet turns into a a festive, dippable version of everyone's favorite campfire snack. Even Peeps haters won't be able to resist a scoop of this colorful Easter treat.
We chose to mix-and-match Peeps to create the most eye-catching display, but feel free to use whatever Peeps you have on hand! As far as the chocolate goes, we chose to go with semisweet, but feel free to experiment with dark or milk chocolate if you prefer.
To prevent burning, make sure to keep a close eye on your skillet after the 5 minutes are up. You're looking for a golden top to your Peeps—avoid overbaking.
