We're not sure how or when it happened, but the '90s have became the quintessential decade for nostalgia. Some might argue this is due to millennials' penchant for childhood memories, but we'd argue that it's thanks to all the killer eats that came out during this time.

No matter their age, people are so tied to foods of the past that they've created petitions to bring 'em back. Like Crystal Pepsi. And Etco Cooler. And how could we forget about the McDonald's holiday pie? Well, now anyone who was old enough to drink in the '90s has cause for celebration because Zima is finally making its official comeback.

The clear, boozy drink that came in jewel-cut glass bottles was created by Coors Brewing Company in 1993 as an alternative to beer. It's a malt beverage-cooler hybrid and contains 5.3 percent alcohol by volume, but was discontinued in 2008 due to declining sales. In all honesty, it may have just been before its time, hitting shelves before Smirnoff Ice and Mike's Hard Lemonade gained the cult following they know today.

AdAge reports that the brand has already taken steps to get bottles back on store shelves—at least for a limited time—with a MillerCoors spokesperson saying "more news [is] coming soon" but "if you're one of the zillion fans who have missed Zima, the answer should be clear."

Zima was marketed as "zomething different," and early commercials didn't give much more information than that. If you hadn't had it before, you weren't sure what it would taste like. Delish editors who imbibed back in the '90s say it tasted like spiked 7-Up and some even added a dash of grenadine for boozy take on the Shirley Temple.

Stay tuned for more details on where and when to find it.
