Brace yourselves: Pumpkin spice season is in full swing, and you can now cross popcorn off the list of snacks you never thought would officially receive a pumpkin spice makeover. Pop Secret recently rolled out the limited-edition flavor, which as noted by POPSUGAR, was spotted by food blogger The Junk Food Aisle in a Jewel-Osco supermarket.
Another popular foodie, Powered by Ice Cream, also shared a photo of the snack via Instagram, noting in the caption that he didn't actually buy the food, but it was sent to him. He also jokingly added "happy hunting" to the end of his caption, underscoring that it may be tricky to find this treat in stores — at least for the time being.
Pumpkin spice popcorn isn't currently listed as one of the company's limited-edition flavors on the Pop Secret website, so considering that and the fact that Powered by Ice Cream received the snack as a special gift, it's possible that it's not a product that's available in grocery stores nationwide just yet.
It's not clear if or when the snack will hit stores nationwide, but that shouldn't hold you back from enjoying the snack. Simply pop a bag, drizzle a little melted butter and pumpkin pie spice, toss to coat, and voila! Your autumnal dreams have come true.
