Last November, Chip Gaines spilled the beans on when he and wife Joanna would be returning to television following the end of their mega-popular TV show Fixer Upper. This time, though, they won't be returning to HGTV. Instead, the Waco, TX, couple is launching a full-on NETWORK, taking the Magnolia brand to an entirely new level. Here's everything we know about the forthcoming venture thus far.

It's Officially Launching...

You won't have to wait too long to see Chip and Jo back on TV: While there are still plenty of details to work out, the network is set to launch in summer 2020, AdAge reports.

It's Taking Over DIY.

In a press release from Discovery Inc., it was announced that Chip and Jo's yet-to-be-named network will replace DIY next summer. DIY shows include First Time Flippers, The Vanilla Ice Project, and Wood Work, which features carpenter (and Gaines' friend) Clint Harp. While it's not clear if any DIY shows will make the move over, we wouldn't be surprised if Clint appeared in some way. Chip already confirmed a former Fixer Upper producer is coming with them.

The Shows Will Cover All Things Lifestyle.

Per Discovery—which also owns HGTV, Food Network, and OWN—the new network will feature shows centered on community, home, garden, food, wellness, entrepreneurialism and design. As for cooking content, Joanna is brainstorming ideas with the kids, USA Today reports.

"I’m always coming up with these cooking shows in my mind. I never know if it will come to fruition, but my kids do the same thing; when we’re in the kitchen, we pretend like it’s a show," she said. Here's hoping for a Gaines family cooking show come 2020!
